Kalau saya punya Eee PC

Kalau saya punya Eee PC sepertinya saya sedang mengalami peribahasa “Pucuk dicinta ulam tiba”. Bagaimana tidak, beberapa hari ini saya sedang memimpikan betapa senangnya kalau saya punya Eee PC Notebook baru, eh tiba-tiba teman chatting saya, Erens, memberikan informasi bahwa ASUS Indonesia sedang mengadakan “Eee PC Blog Competition”. Wah, impian saya bisa jadi kenyataan nih …

Kesan-kesan apa ya yang timbul kalau saya punya Eee PC Notebook baru? Tentunya perasaan senang yang luar biasa, bangga bukan main! Notebook Eee PC yang mungil tapi dengan kemampuannya yang luar biasa itu merupakan “benda ajaib” yang pernah ada dalam sejarah peradaban umat manusia. Kalau saya punya Eee PC itu juga bisa menaikkan gengsi atau prestige tersendiri.

Kalau saya punya Eee PC, itu merupakan idaman dan impian saya. Yang jelas, kalau saya punya Eee PC Notebook tersebut akan sangat membantu tugas-tugas harian saya, apalagi profesi saya sebagai seorang Internet Marketer dan SEO Consultant. Orang Barat bilang, kalau mau memiliki sesuatu barang agar dipertimbangkan lebih dahulu apakah barang itu “nice to have” ataukah “need to have”. “Nice to have” artinya alangkah senangnya kalau kita memiliki barang tersebut, meski mungkin barang tersebut kurang bermanfaat pada saat itu. Sedangkan “need to have” artinya kita memang benar-benar memerlukan barang tersebut. Bukan untuk gengsi atau prestige, tapi memang merupakan kebutuhan untuk memilikinya. Bagi saya saat ini, kalau saya punya Eee PC merupakan “need to have”, sesuatu yang memang perlu untuk dimiliki.

Notebook Eee PC ini memiliki banyak kelebihan. Selain mungil, ringan, dan tidak mahal, harddisknya yang solid juga cepat dan efisien, dilengkapi dengan paket software yang preinstall. Memang ada juga kekurangannya seperti keyboard yang terbatas, kapasitas harddisk yang sangat kecil (4 GB), dan resolusi layar yang rendah. Tetapi kalau saya punya Eee PC kekurangan itu bukan masalah. Tetapi kalau saya punya Eee PC hanya sebuah dalam satu keluarga sepertinya tidak cukup. Pengalaman saya selama ini kadang saya terpaksa “rebutan” notebook dengan anak-anak saya yang duduk di bangku SD, bahkan ada yang masih balita. Pas saya mau kerja, eh mereka malah mau main games, jadi deh acara rebutan kecil-kecilan… he he he . Beruntung ada “Eee PC Blog Competition” ini. Semoga saya bisa memenangkan kompetisi ini dan ngga perlu rebutan lagi sama anak-anak kalau saya punya Eee PC.
